So not only will we be freezing this weekend, but we also might need to dig ourselves out of a snowstorm. Thanks a lot, Mother Nature. Or...maybe we'll be spared?

NOAA has already issued a winter weather advisory for Friday into Saturday for parts of Minnesota because of the snow. The bulk of this snowstorm is predicted to fall on Friday, starting in the morning then letting up later in the day.

What can we expect for snowfall totals? Well, the worst of the snowstorm will be on the west side of Southern Minnesota. Yes! Maybe Mother Nature does care about us! Here's what Bring Me the News is saying snowfall totals could be:

  • Rochester: 1-2 inches
  • Mankato: 2-3 inches
  • Redwood Falls: 2-3 inches
  • Marshall: 4-6 inches
  • Albert Lea: 4-6 inches
  • Fairmont: 4-6 inches
  • Pipestone: 4-6 inches

Let's hope that prediction for Rochester holds true!
