Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester woman’s home was burglarized and she was not aware of the crime until some of her property was found Saturday night at a convenience store.

Police say a man found some costume jewelry and other items in a bag that had been thrown into a trash container at the Holiday store near Assisi Heights. A receipt in the bag identified the victim and she was reunited with the property, which she says was worth about $400.

The woman says the burglary apparently occurred sometime between Friday morning and Saturday night. There was no sign of forced entry.
