Mantorville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Dodge Center woman has pleaded to a felony charge stemming from a fatal traffic crash that occurred last summer in Dodge County.

23-year-old Shyanne Jensen admitted Wednesday to a criminal vehicular homicide charge for driving drunk and causing the crash that killed a Dodge Center teenager. She had been scheduled to stand trial next week on two counts of criminal vehicular homicide and several DUI related charges.

Jensen was driving on a county road just north of Dodge Center on July 8th when she lost control and her car went into the ditch before smashing into a tree. Her passenger, 18-year-old Guy Carlson, was fatally injured.

Jensen is scheduled to be sentenced June 17th.
