Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man has worked out a plea agreement involving a shooting earlier this year.

20-year-old Adrick Mims admitted to a felony count of Aiding an Offender - Accomplice After the Fact during a court appearance on Tuesday. Two other charges, one a felony and the other a gross misdemeanor, were dropped through the plea agreement.

Mims and a 15-year-old boy were arrested in June after an apparent road rage incident on Marion Road Southeast during which a passenger in a car driven by Mims allegedly fired a gun at another motorist. The other driver called 911, and the responding officers stopped Mims a few blocks away and found a semi-automatic handgun in his vehicle.

He is scheduled to be sentenced November 9th.

Mims earlier pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a violent home invasion at an apartment near the RCTC campus in February and is also awaiting sentencing in that case.
