Guy Pretends To Be In Comas And Paralyzed To Avoid Going On Trial

You can pretend to be a lot of things to make life not so mundane a little more glamorous. Some pretend to be rich and spend money they don't have. Others pretend to famous and create personas on YouTube. This guy pretended to be paralyzed so he wouldn't have to labeled "criminal." It didn't work.

Alan Knight had been ducking from the cops in Wales(a country on the island of Great Britain), because he had been accused of stealing money, from all people, his neighbor. How much? $67,000. Did I mention his neighbor has Alzheimer's. too? Yeah, a real nice guy.

I call bull crap!

When authorities caught on to him, Alan did what he does best; continue being scum of the earth. He checked himself into a hospital claiming to slip in and out of comas from becoming paralyzed. Police knew that was BS since they recently noticed Alan walk into his local supermarket. Yeah, WALKED IN.

The courts said they were going to have his trial with or without him there, so Mr. Knight showed up in a neck brace and his wife pushing him in his wheelchair, not knowing the cops had already busted him on lying about being paralyzed by playing video of him walking into the store!

That made him drop the ruse and fess up to 19 counts of forgery, fraud and theft. He'll be sentenced in two weeks. For some reason, his wife has not been charged with anything even though she was pushing around in a wheelchair and pretended to tend after him while he was in his many "comas."
