It's hard to believe that it has been 15-years since Hardee's closed in Rochester.

Business writer, Jeff Kiger, from the Post Bulletin stops in every once in awhile to talk with Dunken and Samm about new developments in the Rochester area. A few months ago he mentioned that the burger chain was thinking about returning to the Med-City.

In one of his recent articles he provided more specific information. Kiger contacted Hardee's and got this response from Kate Franklin "The next location slated for opening in your immediate area will not be until approximately July 2017."

It sounds like the fast-food chain is looking for someone in our market that is interested in opening and owning a Hardee's. That's not as easy as it sounds though; according to Kiger, the initial investment for a franchisee is $1.1 million and that person must sign a 20-year contract.
