The Vikings first regular season game is only a few weeks away, and fan excitement is at a fever pitch. Fans want to experience a game at the new stadium and are also excited because the opening game will be against the hated Green Bay Packers.

So how much would you be willing to pay to be there for the first game?

I asked our listeners that question a few days ago and people responded with anywhere from $100 to $200 per ticket. That's a lot of money. Unfortunately, you'll need more, a lot more, to get a ticket for the home opener.

Ticket prices are ridiculous. I just checked stubhub.com and found that seats in the worst section are selling for $290 a piece.  I’ve been told by friends that have toured the stadium that there isn’t a bad seat in the building but $290 a seat? – that’s freaking insane.

So what are the good seats going for?  Seats in the front row on the fifty yard line are currently selling for a mortgage payment... $1,850! For that much you better get to call some of the plays.
