Rochester, MN(KROC AM News) - One of the two people arrested by Rochester police during a statewide crackdown on heroin trafficking last year has been sentenced to 90 days in jail.

29-year-old Martinez Williams of Minneapolis, who pleaded guilty to felony drug charges in January, was also given a stayed 58 month prison sentence and was placed on probation for 25 years. At the time of their arrests, he and 33-year-old Shaunda Gadsden were described as significant heroin dealers. Gadsden is currently scheduled to stand trial in May.

Throughout Minnesota, federal, state and local law-enforcement agencies rounded up over five dozen people in what officials say was the biggest heroin-related trafficking enforcement operation in state history.
