Dover, MN (KROC AM News) -  A man who led officers on a long high-speed chase on I-90 Tuesday was captured in rural northeast Olmsted County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the man was driving a stolen vehicle that was initially spotted in Monroe, Wisconsin.

A Minnesota state trooper spotted the car headed west on I-90 in Winona County. The trooper and Winona County deputies pursued the vehicle into Olmsted County around 8:30 PM. The driver exited the interstate at Olmsted County Rd 10 and headed north. Officers ended the chase due to safety concerns.

A short while later, a farmer north of Dover called to report that “an unknown vehicle drove behind his barn.”   A State Patrol helicopter and a Rochester police dog joined Olmsted County deputies trying to find the man. The man was located about an hour later and arrested without incident.
