Dua Lipa sings, "If you're under him...You ain't getting over him" in the song New Rules, but it turns out that's not necessarily true. A new study from Wayne State University says hookin' up with an ex doesn't impact how you move on after a breakup.

Eurekalert.org reports the team of researchers conducted two experiments and found that booty calls with an ex "did not seem to stand in the way of people's subsequent recovery from a breakup." Lead author Stephani Spielmann believes it is an important subject to research because of the consequences it could have on someone's mental health, how distressed they remain, and whether they are able to move on.
