Hosts of “The View” Anger Nurses Across the Country

Two of the hosts from “The View,” are catching heat from around the country after mocking Miss Colorado Kelley Johnson and her Miss America speech about being a nurse.

“...She came in in a nurse’s uniform, and basically read her emails out loud,” comedian and co-host Michelle Collins said of Johnson’s speech, which told the story of “Joe,” an Alzheimer’s patient who made Johnson realize the importance of her role as his nurse.

Co-host Joy Behar chimed in with, “Why does she have a doctor’s stethoscope on?”

I don't know anything about the show so I'm not sure if they were trying to be funny or if they're just idiots. I do know several nurses though and they are really talented and hardworking! Making light of their profession comes off as extremely ignorant.
