How Americans Spend Their Tax Returns

A new survey asked over 1,000 Americans how they were planning on using their tax return.

8 percent of people would spend a tax refund on something fun, like clothes, entertainment or a meal out.  52 percent said that they'd spend it on household expenses or  debt. Thirty percent planned to save it, and 8 percent planned to invest it; 2 percent weren't sure.
