Earnest.com, a finance website, just released data that shows 24-years-old is the prime age for shopping at IKEA. Makes sense, right? IKEA offers cheap furniture and 24-year-olds are furnishing their first home or apartments on a limited budget.

Their research suggests that people continue shopping at the home furnishing retail store for another decade. The study concluded that most consumers outgrow IKEA at the age of 34. At that age consumers tend to move to pricier stores like Pier 1 Imports, Ashley Furniture and Bed Bath and Beyond.
