STORM LAKE, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say a 3-year-old's call to 911 helped lead to the arrest of a man accused of sexually assaulting the child's mother in Storm Lake.

Police say the child dialed 911 early Tuesday but did not speak to emergency dispatchers. Police responded to an apartment, where 30-year-old Denis Reyes-Morales is accused of jumping out of a second-story window.

Police say Reyes-Morales entered the apartment and sexually assaulted a woman inside. He was later arrested at his home.
