Is Monday Really A Day To Go Braless For Breast Cancer?

I saw a meme on facebook last night of a bra-less woman - naturally it caught my eye.  It was a post to notify people that Monday Oct. 13 is "National No Bra" day as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I immediately laughed at the idea of some creeper pitching this idea in a meeting but then I tried to justify the day - It would definitely bring a lot of attention to breast cancer.  Sadly though it doesn't seem to be legit. I searched for a credible organization backing this day and unfortunately couldn't find one.
