Residents in southeastern Minnesota enjoyed their warmest day in nearly 4 months yesterday

as temperatures climbed into the 40’s and even low 50’s in some areas. Rochester’s official high was 46 degrees - the warmest since November 16th. The snow pack that built up to 2 feet in recent weeks is also disappearing with the sunshine and warmer weather. It was measured at 15 inches at the airport as of last night - down 10 inches from a week ago. More melted overnight as temperatures stayed above freezing. Some wet and cooler weather is expected the next few days but then another round of 40’s is in the forecast by the end of the week.
