Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The brother of a Minneapolis man who was fatally shot by police officers last fall has pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor charge connected to a domestic disturbance in Rochester in late March.

33-year-old Jamine Robinson was arrested only a few hours after the Hennepin County Attorney announced the Minneapolis police officers involved in the shooting death Jamar Clark would not face criminal charges, which sparked large protests in the Twin Cities.

Robinson was originally charged with a felony DANCO, Domestic Abuse No Contact Order, violation involving his estranged wife, but was allowed to enter a guilty plea to a lesser count of violating a no contact order. Robinson also entered a guilty plea to a gross misdemeanor domestic assault charge stemming from an incident in Rochester last May.

He is scheduled to be sentenced for both convictions on September 2nd.
