Kenyon Police “Leaving People Better Than We Found Them”

I saw this posted to the Kenyon Police Department's facebook page and had to share! Way to go KPD!

All in a day's work...

Here's another example of why I feel I work with some of the best people around.

Officer Amy and I went to a home today and met with a person regarding some minor ordinance concerns. We could have issued a citation and left, but in keeping with our "leaving people better than we found them approach", Officer Amy got right to work helping the homeowner clean up some items and she even assisted with some lawn work as well.

We really do have amazing people here and I count my co-workers as one of my biggest blessings. In a world that seems to have lost a lot of compassion and work ethic, we still have so many wonderful examples of kindness all around us.

Way to go Officer Amy!
