Kraft Foods is saying 36,000 cases of the Kraft cheese singles may present a choking hazard. So, they’ve decided to voluntarily recall them.

The company has received at least ten complaints and at least three reports of choking. They say a thin strip of the packaging film could stay attached to the cheese even after you remove the wrapper.

The recall is for the 3 and 4-pound packages of the Singles with Best When Used By dates of 12/29/15, through 01/04/16. The recalled product also contains the manufacturing codes S54 or S55. The dates and codes can be found on the outside plastic covering the slices.

Customers can return the recalled product to the store they purchased it from for an exchange or a refund.
