In a move that seems to becoming more and more popular these days, two of the biggest names in their respective genres have teamed up for one awesome collaboration.

Country crossover's are nothing new to pop radio.  Back in the 90's we saw Shania Twain and Faith Hill do it.  In the early 2000's we had the Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, along with Lady Antebellum and probably the biggest example, Taylor Swift, make themselves a household name with the help from the Top 40 charts in the past decade.

So why can't it work the other way around?

That brings us to the new single from country superstar Kenny Chesney and pop princess Pink.

His brand new single, "Setting the World on Fire" was released this past week and in case you missed it, here it is:

You wouldn’t expect a song from Kenny Chesney and Pink, but the duo harmonize their voices together like they’d been singing together for years.

In case you forgot, earlier this year Demi Lovato had gone back to her Texas roots and joined country superstar Brad Paisley for a killer new collab as well.

Is this the start of a new fad in the industry?  Do you think this could work on our own station KROC?  Let us know in the comments below!
