Local Favorite Reopening In Rochester
Here is some good news for those of you that love Chinese food.
Wong's Café first opened in Rochester back in 1952, but its lease came up last July, leaving the restaurant without a building. At that time owner Phala Nhean thanked loyal customers and said they would reopen once a suitable location was found.
A new location has been secured and the plan is to have it open by mid-November.
Jeff Kiger from The Post Bulletin reports that Wong's will soon be reopening at 4180 18th Ave. NW in front of the Cedarwood Plaza shopping center.
This location has housed numerous restaurants over the past several years including Roscoe's BBQ and Far East Fusion.
