Local Musician to Make National Television Debut this Month

Adam Wayne is a singer-songwriter from Austin and is about to make his acting debut.

He describes his music as Ameri-Country, a mix between Americana and red-dirt country music. He's enjoyed a tremendous amount of success, sharing the stage with names like Alabama, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Trace Adkins, and Tracy Lawrence.

Now he's beginning a career as an actor.

The movie "JL Ranch" which he describes as "a modern cowboy western" will premiere this month on the Hallmark Channel. The film starts Jon Voigt, James Caan, and Melanie Griffith.
