Mall of America New Attraction Opened Yesterday

The Mall of America opened a new attraction yesterday called 'Fly Over America' and we got a chance to be one of the first people to experience the ride. And what an experience it is.

From start to finish, you'll be amazed at the true experience of flight. The only thing is, is that you aren't in an airplane. You sit in a seat with your feet dangling 10-40 feet above the ground and immersed in a 'giant half-spherical dome screen.' (I actually pulled my feet up because I thought I was going to get them wet!)

Special effects like mist, wind and scented air make you feel like you are truly flying. Some of the flight scenes were filmed in Red Wing, too. Expect to spend about 30 minutes from start to finish. Even waiting in line was an experience, with trivia and scenes of America on the walls.

This really is a 'must-see' attraction at the Mall of America. You WILL be amazed.-Alan
