Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Witnesses told Rochester police that a man who was struck by a car Monday morning was behaving erratically and waving his arms as he was walking in the middle of a busy street.

A police spokesman says 45-year-old Jason Turrso suffered broken bones and other significant injuries when he was struck by a car about 6:30 a.m. in the 100 block of 16th Street Southeast.

The car was driven by a local paramedic, 22-year-old Jacob Vukovich, who immediately began providing Turrso with first aid.

Information about the victim's medical condition is not available.
