Man Charged In Assault…Of Himself

A guy in Oregon was brought in for assault but brought on more charges while in jail for assaulting himself. Worst of all, he tried blaming officers for it.

Police officers all over the country have been getting a bad rap for the past several months because of some high-profile cases. It's the mentality that "every cop is bad" that's probably leading to behavior like this in hopes of being found innocent in the court of public opinion; it seems that opinion is more important than actual verdicts. That is, assuming those trying to win the favor of the masses isn't a big, dumb, self-inflicting idiot. Enter Aleksander Tomaszewksi:

Looks a little rough, right? Don't worry, he did that to himself but tried to blame the officers that booked him. He was brought in on sexual assault charges but added more assault-related charges to his stay; initiating a false report and attempted coercion, to be exact. How do we know it wasn't the popo that gave him the beat down? Because security camera footage caught him punching himself in the face 45 times in 4 minutes. Check it out:
