Our sister station, KROC-AM, posted an article earlier this afternoon about today's evacuation drill at Mayo Clinic. It took place this morning, as 1,700+ employees practiced an emergency evacuation of the Hilton Building.

The station is just a couple blocks from the Clinic, and someone suggested I pop out there to watch what was happening. So, I grabbed the trusty cell phone and got some footage of the event.

I just happened to end up right near the incident command center, so along with the video footage I also captured some pretty cool audio. It captures a glimpse of how the drill was running, through the eyes of some of those in charge. Take a look and listen!

From what I was told, this is the first time a drill of this magnitude has been undertaken at the Clinic and, from an outsider's perspective, it seemed to go pretty smoothly.
