Meet the Hero That Charged the UCC Shooter to Help Save Others

Chris Mintz is the veteran who charged the Oregon shooter trying to protect people on his son's 6th birthday.  He was assailed with bullets in the back, hands and torso.  Thankfully, a nurse was in the room and immediately began CPR on him and prayed with him until the EMT arrived.

Chris was laying on the floor saying to the gunmen "It's my son's birthday.  It's my son's birthday".

Here's the latest photo of the hero after 7 bullets have been removed from his body.  He'll have to learn how to walk again, but he's in good spirits.
