Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester’s observances of the Memorial Day Holiday will include a parade through the city’s downtown. The patriotic procession will begin in the area of Central Park at 9:45 a.m. and will make its way to the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial, where a Memorial Day program is scheduled to begin at 10:30.

Memorial Day services are also planned numerous cemeteries in the Rochester area Monday afternoon.

Gov. Mark Dayton has ordered flags that government facilities in Minnesota the flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Memorial Day in honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
