Yesterday, Samm asked me what I would do if I won $1,000. (We're currently giving away a $1,000 twice a day, every weekday on 106.9 KROC.) Without missing a beat, I told her that $1,000 would pay for almost a month of daycare for my kids. She responded, almost a month?!?

Yep, daycare is expensive! A new report from credio.com shows that the cost of child care for one infant in Minnesota is $14,366!?!?! Thankfully, my daycare isn't that expensive. We pay that much for both of our kids. My son is almost 3 and our daughter just turned 1 and we pay a little over $1,200 a month for their daycare.

The report, which you can read here, shows that Minnesota is the fifth most expensive state in the country for child care.

We'd love to help pay your daycare bill, mortgage or car payment. Listen weekdays at 830 a.m. and 430 p.m. for the 2K A Day Giveaway on 106.9 KROC. You could win $1000 to use on those bills, or maybe something fun like a vacation!
