If you haven't taken the kiddos here to explore yet, this is definitely the weekend to do it!

This is usually the time of year when the kids are driving you nuts, and it gets more and more difficult to find ways to get them out of the house for a while because it's just so cold outside. Well here's something you should definitely consider this weekend because the Minnesota Children's Museum Rochester is hosting Family Date Night!

The party starts this Saturday, February 10th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the museum. The event will be Arts Night, and feature local filmmakers Tyler Aug and Mike Terrill. You may have seen some of Tyler's work on social media as he does a lot of fun videos for local businesses, events and he's also the founder for The Rochester Posse.

Families will have the opportunity to try their hand at stop motion film-making and get get behind the camera to learn what goes into making a film! Afterwards, you'll watch a movie together and enjoy a Pajama and Popcorn Party at the museum!

Tickets are $10, and you can purchase them HERE.

A fun, and cheap event for the whole family in the dead of winter? You just can't beat that in Rochester! Stop by this weekend!
