Undated (KROC-AM News) - The recent rainy weather has erased the drought conditions that were common across Minnesota just a few weeks ago.

The new Drought Monitor report from the National Weather Service shows a little over 20-percent of the state is still rated as “abnormally dry,” but otherwise, Minnesota is drought free for the first time since last October.

In early May, drought conditions were present in over 90-percent of Minnesota and around 40-percent of the state was experiencing a severe drought.
