Foley, MN(KROC AM News) -  A central Minnesota woman was killed Tuesday in what the State Patrol says was an apparent alcohol and/or drug-related traffic wreck.

It happened around 6 p.m. on Highway 23 in Foley, which is about 20 miles northeast of St Cloud.

The Patrol says the wreck involved two SUVs.

One was driven by a 29-year-old man from Milaca, suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.The Patrol says he crossed the centerline of the road and collided with the other SUV, which was driven by 35-year-old Lindsay Cardinal of Foreston. She died at the scene. Two of her three young children who were in the vehicle - ages 1 and 5 - suffered injuries described as non-life threatening.

The other driver and a passenger - 24-year-old Nicole Schmidt of Milaca - suffered serious injuries.
