Moorhead, MN (Minnesota News Network) -  Clay County prosecutors have dropped murder charges against a 16-year-old boy accused of killing a man in Moorhead.

Zachary St. Claire had been charged in the beating death of 55-year-old Bradley Carrington, who was found dead in a Moorhead mobile home on October 18th. St. Clair initially admitted to hitting and kicking Carrington and claimed that the man molested him several times over multiple years. He later changed his story and told investigators that his brother, 20-year-old Anthony Rodriguez, killed Carrington.

St. Claire is still charged with aiding an offender. Rodriguez is now charged with second-degree murder.
