The National Weather Service says a weather system will slide across the region tonight - bringing a mixed bag of wintry precipitation. Moisture coming in ahead of the low is leading to fog, some of which is dense. With roads still cold, icy spots are developing on untreated roadways. There could be some freezing drizzle as the system approaches around noon, with a wintry mix becoming likely during the afternoon. Much of this will change over to snow by midnight.
