MN Flu Activity Now Widespread
Flu activity continues to spread in Minnesota.
The latest weekly report from the state Health Department shows activity is now classified as widespread. That’s the highest the activity level has been so far this season.
The number of hospitalizations involving patients suffering from flu-like symptoms shot up from 50 in the previous report to 65 last week.
Suspected outbreaks at schools rose from 9 to 19.
Suspected nursing home outbreaks increased from 3 to 4.
