The statewide average for the price of a gallon of regular gasoline is at a four-year low. The website MinnesotaGasPrices.com is reporting the average has dipped below $2.75 a gallon. It hasn’t been that low since late in the year in 2010.

The price-at-the-pump has dropped as low as $2.55 a gallon in some parts of Minnesota, including areas of Goodhue and Dakota Counties in southeastern Minnesota. In Rochester, most stations are selling regular gas for $2.70 a gallon.
