(St. Paul, MN - Minnesota News Network )  --  A ban on e-cigarettes in health care facilities, licensed day care centers and public buildings is headed to Governor Dayton's desk

after the legislature passed it last night.  Mankato Senator Kathy Sheran  says certain facilities licensed by the state are also subject to the e-cig ban, but not bars and restaurants.  Sheran says she's very disappointed the legislature didn't pass her proposal to ban e-cigarettes in all indoor public places, but adds the issue hasn't gone away.  Buildings at the U-of-M and state colleges and universities are included in the e-cigarette ban.
