MnDot Advises NO Travel Across much of Southeast Minnesota

Heavy snow and strong winds are creating very dangerous travel conditions across most of the KROC listening area. Snowplow crews are working hard to clear area roads and highways this morning but at this time they are still completely covered.

We spoke with Mike Dougherty from MnDot at 6:00am and he said that travel is not advised at this time for a good portion of our listening area.

Below is an image from that site taken at 6:05am. Travel is not advised for the area in PURPLE.  The PINK area indicates completely covered roads.

If you must travel, please allow yourself extra time, buckle up, and go slow.
