Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is investigating some more residential burglaries.

Three were reported over the weekend in the northern part of the county, all generally in the same area. Two involved homes in Oronoco Township, the third is in Viola Township.

Captain Scott Behrns says numerous items were taken, including jewelry, cash, guns and collector coins. They were valued at several thousand dollars. Behrns says all three break-ins involved forced entry. He says investigators are pretty sure that these burglaries were committed by the same person or persons who recently broke into other homes in the northern part of the county.

There was also a break-in at the Sargent’s North store in the 8000 block of 18th Avenue NW but nothing was taken.

Behrns is asking the public to report anything that appears to be suspicious.
