A retired North Dakota farmer from Edgeley created quite the tribute to Prince last week that needs to be seen to believe.

Gene Hanson snuck out to his fields recently without telling anyone and created the massive image, also known as the "love symbol" (shown below) to honor the late Minnesota pop star.

The 75-year-old says the design was hard to replicate by using a small tractor and disc using an image he taped to the dashboard of his tractor, and he estimates the Prince symbol is about 300 feet by 200 feet.

In case you're wondering how Hanson got so good at creating such a thing?  Well, he's done this before.

He's very well known for his field art, using his equipment to "write" messages.  Some of his past works include, "Happy Easter" and "Pray for rain".

As you can imagine, the symbol and tribute is only temporary and won't be around for very long, as corn was planted earlier this week.
