National Donut Day is a day to honor the memory of soldiers and the Salvation Army Donut Lassies aka Donut Girls. These girls made donuts for American soldiers who were serving in World War I, World War II, and during the Vietnam War.

Celebrate the 77th National Donut Day with the Salvation Army on Friday, June 5, 2015, at the Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester. From 10:00 am until 1:00 pm you'll be able to enjoy free donuts and coffee plus meet some of the Rochester Salvation Army advisory board members to learn about the 2015 Bed & Bread Club®.
