New Apt Complex Proposed Near Downtown Rochester
The Rochester Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to review the preliminary plan for a new apartment building that would be located a few blocks from the downtown core area.
The plan submitted by local developer Joe Weis proposes a four story structure that would include 68 apartments and surface parking that would be located below the building.
The site is located at the corner of 1st avenue and 5th street northwest, near the Cheap Charlie’s restaurant.

The plan is currently being reviewed by staff. The commission is scheduled to review staff recommendations and the plan at its November 12th meeting.
