New iPhone Feature Could Cost You BIG Bucks – Here’s How to Disable It!
Own an iPhone? If so, you may have noticed that Apple released iOS 9 recently... but by doing so, they implemented a new feature which is costing people with limited data plans HUNDREDS of dollars! Yikes!
Not cool right? Well we're here to help you save some money by showing you how to avoid such a catastrophe!
The culprit of all this is it's "Wi-Fi Assist," which is on by default. What it does is it will automatically switch you to 4G if it thinks the Wi-Fi you're using is too slow. If you're on a limited data plan, that's some BAD news right there!
Here's how to turn it off:
1) Open Your Settings
2) Choose "Cellular"
3) Scroll all the way to the bottom, and find "Wi-Fi Assist." Then, touch that button to turn it OFF
Aaaaand that's it - we just helped you save a TON of money - you're welcome!
