In case you didn’t get enough inspiration from our list of the 20 films you absolutely must see this summer, then perhaps our guide to June’s new movie releases will give you a few more ideas. Next months brings sequels to Independence Day, The Conjuring and Now You See Me, a new Pixar film, and a comedy from the Lonely Island trio. And that’s only half of it. Did we mention Daniel Radcliffe’s magical farting corpse? That’s something you definitely do not want to miss (and we say that sincerely).

June 3

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping: Directed by Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. Starring Andy Samberg, Bill Hader and Martin Sheen. When it becomes clear that his solo album is a failure, a former boy band member does everything in his power to maintain his celebrity status.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows: Directed by David Green. Starring Megan Fox, Will Arnett and Stephen Amell. The Turtles return to save the city from a dangerous threat.

Me Before You: Directed by Thea Sharrock. Starring Emilia Clarke, Sam Claflin and Jenna Coleman. A girl in a small town forms an unlikely bond with a recently-paralyzed man she’s taking care of.

The Fits (Limited): Directed by Anna Rose Holmer. Starring Royalty Hightower, Alexis Neblett and Inayah Rodgers. While training at the gym 11-year-old tomboy Toni becomes entranced with a dance troupe. As she struggles to fit in she finds herself caught up in danger as the group begins to suffer from fainting spells and other violent fits.

Andron (Limited): Directed by Francesco Cinquemani. Starring Alec Baldwin, Michelle Ryan and Danny Glover. A group of people are plunged into a dark, claustrophobic maze, where they must fight to survive, as the outside world watches.

Approaching the Unknown (Limited): Directed by Mark Elijah Rosenberg. Starring Mark Strong, Sanaa Lathan and Luke Wilson. An American astronaut prepares for a mission to Mars.

Urge (Limited): Directed by Aaron Kaufman. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Ashley Greene and Nick Thune. A weekend getaway takes a dangerous turn when a mysterious nightclub owner introduces a group of friends to a new designer drug. Stripped of their inhibitions, they start living out their wildest fantasies — but what starts out as a fun night of partying quickly turns deadly, as the island paradise deteriorates into a tropical madhouse.

June 10

The Conjuring 2: Directed by James Wan. Starring Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson and Frances O’Connor. Lorraine and Ed Warren travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.

Now You See Me 2: Directed by Jon M. Chu. Starring Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg and Daniel Radcliffe. The Four Horsemen resurface and are forcibly recruited by a tech genius to pull off their most impossible heist yet.

Warcraft: Directed by Duncan Jones. Starring Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell and Paula Patton. The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people, and their home.

Diary of a Chambermaid (Limited): Directed by Benoit Jacquot. Starring Lea Seydoux, Vincent Lindon and Clotilde Mollet. A scheming servant works for a wealthy couple in France during the late 19th century.

From Afar (Limited): Directed by Lorenzo Vigas. Starring Alfredo Castro, Luis Silva and Jerico Montilla. A lonely 50-year-old man pays younger men for their company and nothing more. When he meets the 17-year-old leader of a local gang, both of their lives are changed.

Blackway (Limited): Directed by Daniel Alfredson. Starring Julia Stiles, Anthony Hopkins and Alexander Ludwig. An ex-logger comes to the aid of a woman who returns to her hometown in the Pacific Northwest and finds herself harassed and stalked by a former cop turned crime lord.

Genius (Limited): Directed by Michael Grandage. Starring Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman and Guy Pearce. A chronicle of Max Perkins’ time as the book editor at Scribner, where he oversaw works by Thomas Wolfe, Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald and others.

June 17

Finding Dory: Directed by Andrew Stanton and Angus MacLane. Starring Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks and Idris Elba. The friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish reunites with her loved ones, and everyone learns a few things about the real meaning of family along the way.

Central Intelligence: Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. Starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Amy Ryan. After he reunites with an old pal through Facebook, a mild-mannered accountant is lured into the world of international espionage.

Swiss Army Man: Directed by Daniels. Starring Daniel Radcliffe, Paul Dano and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. A hopeless man stranded in the wilderness befriends a dead body and together they go on a surreal journey to get home.

Clown (Limited): Directed by Jon Watts. Starring Andy Powers, Laura Allen and Peter Stormare. A loving father finds a clown suit for his son’s birthday party, only to realize that it is not a suit at all.

No Stranger Than Love (Limited): Directed by Nick Wernham. Starring Alison Brie, Justin Chatwin and Colin Hanks. What is stranger than the big hole that opens up in Lucy Sherrington’s living room floor? As it turns out, love.

Tickled (Limited): Directed by David Farrier and Dylan Reeve. This documentary follows a journalist who stumbles upon the underground world of tickling competitions. Things only get weirder from there.

June 24

Independence Day: Resurgence: Directed by Roland Emmerich. Starring Jeff Goldblum, Maika Monroe and Liam Hemsworth. Two decades after the first Independence Day invasion, Earth is faced with a new extra-Solar threat. But will mankind’s new space defenses be enough?

The Shallows: Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. Starring Blake Lively, Oscar Jaenada and Brett Cullen. A mere 200 yards from shore, surfer Nancy is attacked by a great white shark, with her short journey to safety becoming the ultimate contest of wills.

Free State of Jones: Directed by Gary Ross. Starring Matthew McConaughey, Keri Russell and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. As civil war divides the nation, a poor farmer from Mississippi leads a group of rebels against the Confederate army.

The Neon Demon (Limited): Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. Starring Elle Fanning, Abbey Lee and Christina Hendricks. When aspiring model Jesse moves to Los Angeles, her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will take any means necessary to get what she has.

Wiener-Dog (Limited): Directed by Todd Solondz. Starring Greta Gerwig, Zosia Mamet and Danny DeVito. Chronicles the life of a dog as it travels around the country, spreading comfort and joy.

The Duel (Limited): Directed by Kieran Darcy-Smith. Starring Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson and Emory Cohen. A Texas Ranger investigates a series of unexplained deaths in a town called Helena.

Hunt for the Wilderpeople (Limited): Directed by Taika Waititi. Starring Sam Neill, Julian Dennison and Rima Te Wiata. A national manhunt is ordered for a rebellious kid and his foster uncle who go missing in the wild New Zealand bush.
