New Vikings’ Stadium Reaches Another Milestone

Construction crews are working hard to make sure everything is perfect at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis before the venue opens for concerts, events, and Vikings' football in August.

The final seats have just been installed by the Irwin Seating Company. The stadium has over 58,000 fixed seats and close to 6,000 retractable seats.

The purple seats range from 19 to 22 inches wide, feature a Vikings logo, and cup holder. Fans will be closer to the action than ever before as the closest seats are only 41 feet from the sideline.

Some big time concerts have already been announced for this summer:

August 19th: Luke Bryan

August 20th: Metallica

The Minnesota Vikings will play their first game in their new home in August as well.
