Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) -  Yet another winter storm could hit Minnesota and affect the Rochester area this weekend.

The latest information from the National Weather Service indicates rain will change to snow Saturday across most of central and southern Minnesota.  

Several inches of snow could fall by the time the storm winds down Sunday in areas that include Owatonna and the Twin Cities. It appears the Rochester area could receive 3 - 5 inches by Sunday.

Freezing rain could also impact the area through the weekend.

It will also remain cold through Monday and it appears temperatures will remain below average most of next week.
