Nominations For This Years Razzie Awards Have Been Announced

In what some people would call the snarky answer to the Oscars, The Golden Raspberry Award, or Razzie, is given to those films and actors that are... well, we'll just say "less deserving".

You may have enjoyed slouching into your deluxe recliner in the movie theater while Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) seduced his way onto the big screen in Fifty Shades of Grey...  However, the critics at the Golden Raspberry Awards named it one of the worst movies of the year with six Razzie awards.

For those who aren't familiar, The Razzie Awards are given out the day before the stars walk the red carpet at the Oscars.

Fifty Shades of Grey was nominated for Worst Picture, Worst Actor, Worst Actress, Worst Screen Combo, Worst Director, and Worst Screenplay... Ouch.  It's not quite the 11 nominations that Adam Sandler received back in 2011 with his bomb Jack & Jill but that's still pretty bad!

Not only did they rip the hearts out of any Fifty Shades fans, but Channing Tatum was also in the Worst Actors category for his role in Jupiter Ascending.

Having seen the movie myself, I can tell you that it's 2 1/2 hours of my life that I'll never get back.
