Everywhere you go, basketball seems to be the main subject. At work, on Facebook, even at random stores. Fill out your bracket they say. It'll be fun they say.

I have to admit, I have yet to watch a SINGLE college basketball game this year. I've had my moments in the past, but when I get busy, my priorities tend to change. For whatever reason, I've never REALLY been able to get in to watching basketball. I've played since I was in 4th grade, but playing verse watching, totally different. If you're like me, or maybe you have not the slightest clue how the game works, here are some tips to get you through the month!

1. GUESS!

Fill out a bracket, ESPECIALLY if it's free - you could win lots of money! Fill it by picking which team name, mascot, or state you like most. You can do some research or you can completely do it at random. I know a girl that won by picking which uniforms she liked most!

2. Watch a basketball movie

Watching a basketball movie could really get you in the spirit. Even if it's a terrible movie like Will Ferrel's "Semi-Pro". My personal favorite is "Love and Basketball." I still have it on VHS!

3. Listen to players' inspirational stories

I really enjoyed the Superbowl pre-game show this year. Hearing their stories (esp the sad ones) make you feel for them, and will make you want to watch them and cheer them on!

4. Get into the music

I feel like this would annoy me more than anything, but feel free to give it a try. Replace your workout mix with the College theme song.
