The board was briefed on the proposal this morning and decided to hold a public hearing on November 18th to get citizen input.

The proposal would essentially treat e-cigs like real cigarettes.  This means they would be banned in work and public places.

The board could vote on the proposal at the end of the public hearing.

Olmsted County’s ordinance was adopted in 2007.
