Pinterest in Real Life: Beer Cake

I can't cook! Once in awhile I surprise myself by making something delicious, but recreating it again, well, that just won't happen. I found the ultimate recipe! It's a cake that you don't have to cook/bake, takes just a few minutes, AND EVERYONE will love it! 

Ladies and gentlemen, a BEER cake made by yours truly!

What? Were you expecting an ACTUAL cake, that you don't have to bake, and actually tastes good? NO SUCH THING! This is way better anyway, and it doubles as a gift.

This specific beer cake was made for my best friend and her fiance. I used their favorite beer. I bought the plate (tip: it cannot be flimsy.. beer is heavy) at Party City. Some pins suggest using a plate under each layer, but I did not, and it still turned out great. I also did not use a glue gun, so we weren't able to move it much. I was actually anticipating them breaking into the beer right away anyway, not taking it home for decoration.

If you want to make it for decoration (maybe for your bar or something), my suggestion: use empty cans and lots of glue!
